They will visit 322 districts, communes and townships in HCM City, Central Highland provinces, Eastern and Southwestern provinces and Laos and Cambodia.

During the one-month campaign, young volunteers will help build bridges, roads and 100 compassionate houses for disadvantaged families and teach foreign languages and IT for young workers.

The same day, 1,000 computers were handed over to poor young people while the municipal Humanitarian Blood Donation Association received around 1,600 blood units-  a record level of blood donation in a single day.

In addition, 22 young American and Vietnamese volunteers visited southern Ben Tre province to help local people repair schools and build compassionate houses as part of international voluntary activities.
