Ethnic minority people in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum are preserving around 1,500 Gong sets and many ancient gong performances.

After the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) recognised Central Highland Gong as humanity’s intangible and oral masterpiece, the provincial culture and information sector has actively strengthened measures to preserve and develop Gong cultural values and space.
