A delegation of the Vietnam National Assembly led by its vice chairwoman Tong Thi Phong will attend the 29th ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) held in Singapore from August 19 – 24.
The visit is made at the invitation of AIPA president Abdullah Tarmugi who is also a speaker of the Singaporean Parliament.
The delegation includes chairman of the NA Committee for External Relations, Nguyen Van Son, chairwoman of the NA Committee for Social Affairs, Truong Thi Mai and some other NA members.
