The Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands attended the 49th “Pasar Malam Besar” festival, which was held in the Hague, the Netherlands from May 17 to 28.

Vietnam’s Ao Dai (traditional long dress) and some special dishes, such as spring roll were introduced to visitors along with a lot of printed matter on Vietnam’s land and people, culture, cuisine and tourism.

The annual festival was initiated by Indonesian people living in the Netherlands, with the aim of creating a place for Indonesian people to meet and exchange their experience.

In recent years, the festival has become a traditional festival of many Asian countries, including China, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar and Singapore.

This year’s festival attracted more than 500 artists from Asian countries and more than 120,000 visitors.
