Vietnam Adventure Race Begins April 28!

VOV.VN - One of the toughest adventure races in the world – Tu Lan Adventure Race 2016 – will get underway on April 28 in Quang Binh Province, according to an announcement by Oxalis, the race organizer.

At the event, 10 co-ed teams of five members each will take to the starting line to begin the gruelling four-day premiere adventure race in Vietnam, taking runners through the wild jungle and caves of the central province.

This year's course will cover 30 kilometres as competitors run, ride, and paddle their way across the harsh, and unforgiving landscape.

They'll be competing in a wide variety of disciplines that range from trekking and mountain biking, to climbing and white water rafting. As usual, navigation will play a key role as well.

The first team will receive US$1,500 (VND30 million) in prize money. Second and third team prizes will get US$1,000 (VND20 million) and US$500 (VND 10 million), respectively.

The registration deadline for competitors wishing to participate is March 30, 2015. For further information, please contact: contact@oxalis.com.vn.
