Defence minister receives outgoing Israeli ambassador

Defence Minister General Ngo Xuan Lich received outgoing Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Meirav Eilon Shahar in Hanoi on June 26, during which he affirmed that Vietnam always treasure friendship and cooperation with Israel in all fields, including defence.

General Lich lauded the role that Ambassador Shahar has played during her stay in Vietnam, expressing his hope that the diplomat will continue helping foster the partnership between the two countries in her new position.

For her part, Ambassador Shahar showed her delight at cooperation attainments between the two countries over the past years.

She pledged that in any position, she will always work hard to further bolster the partnership between Vietnam and Israel.
