The Vietnamese and Indonesian Pepper Associations have discussed the establishment of a joint committee to boost the two countries’ pepper sales and marketing in the world.
The committee is expected to debut at the end of this year as stated in a Memorandum of Understanding signed on April 5.
Vietnam and Indonesia currently supply more than 45 percent of the total pepper volume in the world. Their major markets are Europe and the US.
