The second conference of the Vietnamese students association has been held in Paris, France with the participation of more than 50 delegates representing more than 2,000 Vietnamese students in Paris and neighbouring areas.
The conference reviewed the association’s activities in the 2005-2006 term and set orientations for the next term.
Since its establishment in December 10, 2005, the association has organised a number of significant activities and actively coordinated with the Overseas Vietnamese Association in France, the Vietnamese Youth Association, the Association in support of Vietnamese Agent Orange Victims and the French Students Association.
The conference elected a 24-member executive board chaired by Nguyen Thanh Trung, a postgraduate student at the French Atomic Energy Institute.
