HCM City aims to change perceptions, attract more visitors
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City may not be high on tourist travel lists just yet, but city leaders have a plan to draw more visitors in with four new travel destinations, reports the VnExpress online newspaper.
The streets of Luong Nhu Hoc, Trieu Quang Phuc and Hai Thuong Lan Ong in District 5 will now feature a new shopping destination comprised of roughly 128 oriental medicine retail stores. |
Meanwhile the streets of Nhieu Tam, Nghia Thuc and Bui Huu Nghia in District 5 are expanding their traditional jewellery from just retail to also include the wholesale trade in gold and silver jewellery. |
The market located at the Bach Dang Whaft, near Nguyen Hue Street, popular for its street food, will now open every weekend. |
The City plans to transform Nguyen Hue Street into an attractive destination for art performances with singing, circus, magic, dance and traditional music festivals every week end. |
