Oman, Vietnam promote cooperation
(VOV) -Vietnamese Ambassador Le Hoai Trung, Head of Vietnam’s permanent mission to the UN, and his Omani counterpart, Luytha Sultan Al-Mughairy, have signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral consultancy between the two countries’ Foreign Ministries.
Under the MoU signed in New York on January 22, the two ministries will hold regular consultative meetings to review the development of bilateral ties in politics, economics, culture, science-technology, and education, and exchange their opinions on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Ambassador Mughairy said Vietnam and Oman share many similarities and have great potential for closer cooperation in maintaining peace and stability in the world.
