The meeting heard reports from CEC General Secretary, the Propaganda Sub-committee, the Security Sub-committee and the Sub-committee for Resolving Claim and Denunciation. Since the National Assembly Standing Committee announced the election day and establishment of the CEC, active preparations for the NA election have made in a lawful way.

Speaking at the meeting, NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said it is very important to carry out the second consultation round and strictly implement all necessary steps in line with regulations stipulated by the Law on Election of NA Deputies.

Mr Trong requested relevant organizations to pay due attention to NA election supervision, and solve elected-related claims and denunciations and step up propaganda activities before, during and after the election.
