Vietnamese pottery products are on display at the 10th International Pottery Expo, which opened in Andenne city, Namur province, Belgium, on June 4.

During the week-long event, visitors have the opportunity to see special Vietnamese pottery products from famous traditional villages such as Bat Trang, Dong Trieu and Phu Lang.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Phan Thuy Thanh thanked Belgian authorities for preparing for the event over the past two years. She said she hopes the event will help the Belgian people understand the cultural and spiritual beauty of the Vietnamese people through pottery products. The exhibition will also help Vietnam's pottery arts join other pottery arts in the world, she added.

Various seminars, conferences and exchanges will be held during the expo to help preserve pottery arts and boost understanding among nations and cultures.
