187 marksmen shoot at targets in Hanoi
(VOV) - As many as 187 marksmen began competitions at the 48th annual National Shooting Tournament in Hanoi on November 19.
The 10-day event has attracted shooters from 12 provinces and sectors across the country, namely Haiphong, the Army, Hanoi, HCM City, Thanh Hoa, Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Vinh Phuc, the Ministry of Public Security, Danang, Dong Nai, and the national junior team.
Male athletes are competing in the individual 50m free rifle prone 60 shots, 25m rifle 3 position 3x40, 10m air rifle 60 shots, 50m free pistol 60 shots, 10m air pistol 60 shots, 25m rapid fire pistol 2x30, 25m standard pistol 3x20, 25m sport pistol 30+30, 10m running target 30+30, 10m running target mixed 40 shots, trap, double trap, and skeet.
Meanwhile, female athletes are competing in the individual 50m sport rifle prone 60 shots, 50m sports rifle 3 position 3x20, 10m air pistol 60 shots, 25m sport pistol 30+30, 10m air rifle 40 shots, 10m running target 20+20, 10m running target mixed 40 shots, trap, double trap, and skeet.
The event is being organised by the Vietnam Shooting Federation and the General Department of Sports and Physical Training.
