A delegation of scientists from the Ministry of Science and Technology, led by its Chief Inspector Tran Minh Dung, visited India from August 15-25.
During the visit, the delegation worked with leaders from Indian agencies, including the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, to discuss issues related to the protection of patents, intellectual property rights, and product quality control.
Mr Dung said that India is willing to share experiences with Vietnam in producing low-cost medicines to help poor people cope with epidemics such as malaria and tuberculosis, and assist Vietnam in building standards for controlling the quality of healthcare service.
