Nam extends winning streak in Copa Gatorade
(VOV) -Young Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam is attracting attention in the Gatorade 2014 tourney in Venezuela following two consecutive back-to-back wins on January 17.
In the men’s singles, Nam convincingly defeated Bastian Reyes of Chile with a final score of 6-1 and 6-0.
With this victory, Nam earned 600 points, most certain to increase his position in the upcoming International Tennis Federation (ITF)’s ratings.
In the men’s doubles, Ly Hoang Nam and his partner Adrian Andrzejczuk of Poland qualified for the quarterfinals by beating Leshem of Israel and Shcherba of Ukraine who were seeded No5 coming into the tourney.
They next face off with the leading team of Choinski of Germany and Ried of Chile.
