A delegation from Belgium's Flamand areas began a weeklong investment fact-finding trip to Vietnam on May 6.

The delegation led by Fientje Moerman, Vice Minister President of the Flemish Government and Flemish Minister for Economy, Enterprise, Science, Education, Innovation and Foreign Trade, includes Belgian industry leaders in the areas of construction, shipping, agricultural processing and horticulture.

The delegation will meet with government ministries and local authorities from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Hai Phong.

Businessmen from the Flamand areas have been active investors in the country, particularly in the Hai Phong industrial zone of Dinh Vu.
