Duong Lam ancient village in the northern province of Ha Tay has been classified as a national relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information

Director of the Ha Tay Department of Culture and Information Dang Van Tu told a press briefing in Hanoi on May 17 that Duong Lam is the first ancient village in Vietnam to be recognised as a national relic.

A ceremony will be held on May 19 by the Ha Tay provincial People’s Committee to announce the recognition of Duong Lam - the birthplace of Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen kings - as the national relic.
