Vietnam joins ASEAN Family Day in Mexico
(VOV) -Mexico hosted the ASEAN Family Day 2015 on February 14 aiming to strengthen the traditional friendship and collaboration between member states and the host country.
In his statement, Malaysian Ambassador, who is the chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Mexico (ACMC), Dato Jamaiyah M.Yosof highlighted the significance of exchange friendship activities in 2015 when ASEAN will officially become a united regional community.
He urged the regional grouping’s diplomatic representative agencies in Mexico to support each other so as to prove the ASEAN’s spirit of “One vision, One identity, One community”.
A broad array of cultural activities featuring folk games, art performances and traditional dishes were launched during the event co-hosted by the Embassies of Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam in Mexico.
