Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group has annouced that its SMS messaging service will start on June 1.

The service will enable users to send message from fixed telephones to the Cityphone network as well as fixed and mobile telephones, which are digital locally made at the cost of some VND500,000 each (US$31) and can contain 40 messages, the group said.
