VOV-constructed FM radio station inaugurated in Cambodia

Present at the inauguration ceremony were Chargé d'affaires at the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia Nguyen Trac Toan, Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith and Cambodian officials and people.

Banh Nha, a local resident, showed his gratitude to the Vietnamese Government and people for their meaningful gift for Pray Veng people. Local people will access more information thanks to the radio station, he added.

The station will be an important media channel helping local people update information, improve their intellectual standards and enrich their cultural and spiritual lives as well as serving as a mean for local government to disseminate information, policies, and laws, contributing to building a prosperous Cambodia.

VOV has so far constructed 19 radio stations and two television stations for different Cambodian provinces and cities and will build three more television stations this year.
