Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and his Filipino counterpart, Albert F. Del Rosario, co-chaired the sixth meeting of the Vietnam-Philippines Joint Committee for Bilateral Cooperation in Hanoi on October 6.
They informed each other of socioeconomic development in their countries and reviewed the results achieved since the previous meeting in February 2008.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern and discussed measures to strengthen bilateral ties in the future.
