The Vietnamese Cultural Festival began in Vitoriono Palace in the heart of Rome, Italy on June 16 with the opening of the exhibition “Dragon and Butterfly” to introduce selected artworks of the Vietnamese contemporary art.
On display are nearly 100 paintings with traditional backgrounds such as lacquer, oil paint and poonah- paper and sketches from 29 famous Vietnamese painters.
In addition, 16 traditional costumes selected from the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups are also exhibited, winning the hearts of many guests and viewers.
