UAE marks its 44th National Day in Hanoi
(VOV) -The 44th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), one of the most important milestones in its history, was celebrated in Hanoi on December 2 in the presence of Foreign Ministry representatives and foreign ambassadors and diplomats to Vietnam.
A lucky draw for Emirates airline return tickets to Abu Dhabi and Dubai was launched following a flag-raising ceremony as part of the anniversary celebration.
On June 6, 2012, UAE’s Emirates Airline launched its direct air route linking Moscow-Dubai- Ho Chi Minh City. The plane flies direct from Moscow to Ho Chi Minh City and transit in Dubai on the way back where passengers are offered an overnight stay at local hotels and free transport services.

Since the UAE- Vietnam diplomatic ties were established in 1993, the ties of friendship and cooperation have grown steadily with the UAE becoming Vietnam’s important partner in the Middle East and the Southeast Asian nation serving as a gateway for the UAE to enter Southeast Asia.
A number of important agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) were signed as a result of high-level exchange visits between the two sides, providing a solid legal foundation for broader cooperation in the future.
