Central Quang Ngai province has approved a project on safe water supply and environmental hygiene with a total investment of nearly US$1.4 million, with US$1.17 million aid sourced from Plan International in Vietnam.

The project will benefit 16 communes in Nghia Hanh, Tu Nghia and Son Tinh districts and help 2,000 families access safe water supply systems.

This year, Quang Ngai also plans to implement three other safe water projects with a total investment of VND7.15 billion, and upgrade three other water supply projects.
