Exchange programme marks 72 years of Vietnam People's Army

Entitled ‘Sea, Islands – Vietnam’s Heart’, the program was jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

The program expressed gratitude to generations of soldiers and islanders who have overcome hardship and sacrificed their lives to protect Vietnam’s maritime sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Earlier on December 20, the 72nd founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (1944- 2016) was also celebrated in Laos reviewing the glorious history of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA)'s development, great achievements in the past struggles for national liberation in the present national development process.
