Workshop on developing ethnic language broadcasts on VOV

VOV.VN - Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the National Assembly Ethnic Council, the Committee for Ethnic Affairs, and the Institute of Linguistics jointly held a workshop entitled “Direction for the development of ethnic languages on Radio the Voice of Vietnam.” 

Addressing the workshop in Hanoi on May 27, VOV President Nguyen The Ky said, “It’s necessary to reform the 12 programs of 12 ethnic minority languages in terms of content, format, duration, running order, and production and transmission locations.”

Participants said it’s essential to build up a specialized radio channel for ethnic minority people. VOV is now preparing necessary conditions to operate the national radio channel of ethnic languages.
