The National Assembly (NA) will consider 14 draft laws for approval at the tenth session, scheduled for October this year.

The drafts include a Code of Verdict Enforcement, a Law on the National Assembly's Organisation, and a revised Labour Code.

Also under discussion will be bills on Sending Workers Abroad, Tax Management, Vocational Training, Gender Equality, Dykes, Sports and Physical Training, Granting and Transplanting Tissues and Parts of the Human Body, Associations, Residence, Technology Transfer, and the Public Notaries.

NA deputies will debate eight more draft laws before presenting them to the 11th session. They will include the draft laws on Individual Income Tax, Vietnam's Territorial Waters, Government Organisation, Standards, Family Violence Prevention, Referendums, the Prevention of Infectious Diseases, and Legal Aid.

A conference on preparations for presenting the bills to the tenth session was held in Hanoi on June 26 with the participation of representatives from NA Committees and law drafting and verifying agencies.

They agreed to accelerate the preparations right after the ninth session, including making reports on NA deputies' opinions on each of the 14 draft laws.
