The South-central coastal province of Khanh Hoa received more than 521,000 visitors in the first half of this year. Its revenue earnings reached VND389,400 million or 52 percent of the whole year’s plan.

In the reviewed period, 11 international cruise ships docked at Nha Trang port, carrying nearly 6,000 foreign visitors. However, the number of foreign visitors stayed in Khanh Hoa only increased by 10 percent compared to 2005, mainly due to an overload of domestic visitors to big festivals and fierce competition from the two nearby provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
