Domestic gold rings' prices hit record-breaking VND77 million per tael

VOV.VN - The price of domestic gold rings on April 9 continued its upward trajectory, reaching VND77 million per tael and surpassing all previous records.

Doji Group bought and sold gold rings at VND75.55 million and VND77.25 million per tael, marking an increase of VND2.7 million over the previous session.

Elsewhere, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company’s gold rings also inched up by VND2.6 million to VND75.58 million and 77.08 million per tael for buying and selling.

Meanwhile, Saigon Gold and Jewelry Company listed each tael of SJC gold bar at VND82.4 million and 84.4 million per tael, up VND1.8 million for buying and selling prices compared to the previous day.

Similarly, DOJI gold prices saw an increase of VND1.9 million per tael to reach VND80.5 million and VND84 million per tael for buying and selling.

Gold bars’ prices at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company were quoted at VND82 million and VND84.2 million per tael for buying and selling, up around VND1.8 million per tael over the previous session.

This sudden rise is largely fueled by the robust increases in global gold prices. The price of gold on the world market was traded at US$2,357.4 per ounce on the gold exchange Kitco, up US$13 per ounce compared to the previous trading session.
