Reporters offered free bus service during Trump-Kim summit
Following instruction from Nguyen Duc Chung, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, all buses will run free of charge for local and foreign reporters in the city between February 25 and March 2.

The Hanoi Department of Transport has asked bus companies across the city to upgrade their facilities and improve the conduct of all staff with the aim of creating a positive image of a friendly bus service.

Reporters using the free bus services will also have chance to get more information about the country’s socio-economic development, achievements, foreign policy, land, and people.

Doan Anh Ngoc, a representative from Transerco, mentioned that the city’s tour bus route will be adding an additional stop. The International Media Centre, located at 91 Tran Hung Dao street, will be added to the route for the second DPRK-USA Summit.

In addition, all inner-city bus routes will also be adjusted to provide convenience to reporters for the duration of the summit.

The Trump-Kim Summit has brought more than 3,000 reporters to the city, including 2,600 foreign journalists from news agencies around the world.
