Peruvian coach named manager of Vietnamese tennis team
VOV.VN -Peruvian coach Ivan Miranda has been officially unveiled as the new manager of the national tennis team.

The aim of the training camp is to prepare for the upcoming 30th Sea Games, which will be held in the Philippines during late 2019.
The Peruvian is already well known to the country’s tennis scene, as he is the coach of Ly Hoang Nam, Vietnam’s top tennis player.
In addition to Ivan Miranda, fitness expert Faruk Celikel will also join the national team.
All of the expenses of the new coaches will be paid for by the Hai Dang Tay Ninh Club.
The male national team have set a target of winning a gold medal in the men’s singles event, whilst also posting a strong showing in the doubles’ event.
As for the women’s team, Vietnamese coaches Truong Quang Vu and Nguyen Thuy Dan are to coach six female tennis players in the upcoming tournament.
Ahead of the training camp, Ly Hoang Nam, Trinh Linh Giang, Pham Minh Tuan, Nguyen Dac Tien, and Le Quoc Khanh are scheduled to compete in the VTF Master 500-Lach Tray Cup, which will take place in Haiphong on September 10.
