Huge fire ravages Sai Dong industrial park

VOV.VN - The Sai Dong industrial park, a plant which spans a total area of 1,000 square metres in Hanoi, was destroyed after a large fire hit the premises at 9am on August 11.

According to witnesses at the scene, the fire started in a plant owned by Zion Co., Ltd. The plant is situated in the Sai Dong industrial park which is located near to AEON Mall in Long Bien district of Hanoi.
The fire caused plumes of smoke to billow out of the plant.
Traffic around the area came to a standstill as people looked on at the raging fire.
Due to the plant containing flammable materials, the fire spread rapidly. As a result, it took fire crews several hours to bring the blaze under control.
Black smoke could be seen in the skies about the industrial park for miles around.
The plant was entirely destroyed in the blaze.
The fire was eventually brought under control at around 10am on August 11.
Despite the destruction, no deaths were caused as a result of the disaster.
