VOV, Radio and Television Slovakia strengthen cooperation

RTVS Director General Vaclav Mika, in turn, expressed delight at visiting Vietnam, affirming that two organizations relations over the years have strengthened the traditional friendship between the two nations.

Both sides talked in depth about the challenges faced by modern media in the new age of globalization of culture and new emerging challenges such as social networking and inaccurate information being transmitted on the Internet.

After the reception, VOV President Nguyen The Ky and RTVS Director Geleal Vaclav Mika signed a cooperation agreement witnessed by Slovakian Ambassador to Vietnam Igor Pacolak and VOV representatives.

At the signing ceremony, President Ky emphasized the importance of the agreement in further enhancing traditional relations and promoting mutual understanding between the two nations, governments and its peoples.
